Hi my name is Melissa and I enjoyed reading this article. As I anticipate student teaching in the spring and teaching with my own classroom in the fall I enjoy reading articles about what to expect on the first few days of school. This article was short and really got to the point. I would to have additional help to know how to start the school year right, what to expect in order to run a successful classroom especially in a classroom where there will be a range of abilities. I am a special education major and I anticipate teaching in a inclusive setting or co-teaching in the fall.
